Hiwa Rauf for Investment & Development (HRID) was founded in 2012, by prominent businessman and philanthropist, Hiwa Rauf. It was created with the vision to implement a diverse range of construction projects both commercial and ‘community service projects’ (non-profit).

The two landmark projects of HRID are Downtown and DoubleTree by Hilton- Slemani hotel project. HRID’s largest community service project to date is the Said Sadiq Grain Silo complex, which services the Governorates of Slemani and Halabja. At HRID we believe that all our projects should enhance their surroundings by raising building standards and ethic.
